On the 8th of September 2022 , the opening ceremony of the 22nd China International Fair for Investment & Trade, the Forum of 2022 International Investment , were held in Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center. At the invitation of the Organizing Committee of this CIFIT, Mr.Guo Zhuoming, (Executive Chairman of the EU-China Health Promotion Association), Mr. Cai Dongbo (Deputy Secretary-General of the EU-China Health Association), Mr.Chang Fengling (Vice President of the EU-China Health Promotion Association), members Liu Yongli, Qiu Bin, Wang Jianfa, Zheng Xuehui, Wang Yabin, Shen Jian and others attended the Xiamen Investment & Trade Fair on behalf of the association.
Mr.Zhang Chunxian (Vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress) delivered a keynote speech and launched the “9.8” golden key to announce the opening. Mr.Zhang Chunxian pointed out that President Xi Jinping emphasised that China’s development will bring more new opportunities to all countries and new momentum into the world economy.

Through the window of the 22nd CIFIT, the world pays attention to China, and China pays an important role in regards of connecting the world. With the theme of “Global Development: Sharing Digital Opportunities and Investing in a Green Future”, this CIFIT will effectively release the sound of investment and look forward to new trends in wealth. During the conference, 41 important conferences and forums such as the 2022 International Investment Forum and Gulangyu Forum were held, and more than 50 investment negotiation and project matching meetings were held, attracting more than 90 countries and regions. More than 800 industrial and commercial groups with more than 4,000 Enterprises and about 60,000 merchants participated in the exhibition online and offline. Authoritative information reports such as “Guidelines for China’s Foreign Investment (2022 Edition)”, “China’s Foreign Investment Report 2022”, “Country Development Report of Chinese-funded Enterprises”, and “BRICS Investment Report” were released at the CIFIT, continuing to sound good about Chinese investment.
The 120,000-square-meter exhibition is divided into 13 exhibition areas, attracting UNIDO, as well as embassies, consulates, business associations and investment promotion agencies from 64 countries and regions including South Korea, Japan, and Austria.
