On October 29, Wang Weijia, Executive President and Secretary General of the Shandong Pharmaceutical Industry Association (SPIA), and Zhang Daiming, Party Secretary, led a delegation of pharmaceutical enterprises from Shandong Province on a visit to Europe to explore cooperation opportunities in the European pharmaceutical market.

The delegation included representatives from 11 key pharmaceutical companies in Shandong Province, such as Qidu Pharmaceutical, Lukang Pharmaceutical, Lunan Pharmaceutical, Ruiyang Pharmaceutical, Shandong Subond Pharmaceutical, Yantai Luyin Pharmaceutical, Shandong Boan Biotechnology, Shandong Jingwei Pharmaceutical, Dijia Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., and Shandong Jincheng Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.

During the CPHI Frankfurt Exhibition, the delegation held a productive meeting with Mr. Lu Xiankun, President of the ECGAHP, and Ms. Anna Wehage, Manager of International Affairs at the German Federal Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on China-EU pharmaceutical policies, market trends, technological innovation, and potential areas of collaboration, sharing their development experiences and future plans.

This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the Shandong Pharmaceutical Industry Association and the ECGAHP formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

The signing of this agreement marks a new stage in promoting international exchange and collaboration in the pharmaceutical industry. It will open new pathways for Shandong’s pharmaceutical enterprises to enter the European and global markets, connecting them with high-quality international resources through the associations’ platforms. Both sides aim to enhance global cooperation, achieve mutual benefit, and promote shared development in the pharmaceutical sector.
